Why using blue painters tape is no longer the best solution for protecting your paint.

Blue Painters Tape

Car paint protection is often a matter of deciding between placing ugly materials on your car’s paint or letting it be destroyed by bugs, rocks, and other hazards.

Take blue painters tape as an example. Many people cover their vehicle in blue tape before road trips, at the track, or anywhere else where car paint protection is necessary. While it does a relatively fair job of protecting your paint from bugs and minor dings, it leads to a lot of funny looking cars covered with blue tape. It also has trouble stopping anything more than the most minor vehicle dings and takes awhile to apply.

If you’re not interested in turning your car blue, there are alternatives. Auto bras and clear bras in particular are one way to protect your car’s paint, but they can be expensive, require professional installation, and change the look of your car.

For an inexpensive and effective solution, Road Wrap is a clear, easy to apply car paint protection film that stops damage from bugs, rocks, and more while keeping your paint looking like new. When you’re done with it, taking it off is much faster and easier then removing blue painters tape.

Road Wrap also works for truck paint protection, RV paint protection, and most other vehicles.
