Road Wrap’s top 5 picks for the first NASCAR Hall of Fame.
At Road Wrap, we’re not only big car paint protection fans, we’re also huge NASCAR fans. That’s why when we learned that the NASCAR Hall of Fame was allowing fans to vote on the five people who should be inducted during the grand opening, we had to tell you about it.
Now that we have had time to consider the 25 nominees, we’ve come up with our own list of the 5 people who most deserve to be the first to enter the Hall of fame.
They are:

Dale Earnhardt – With a record 7 Cup Series Championships and 76 overall wins, Dale Earnhardt is amongst the greatest drivers NASCAR has ever seen.
Bill France, Sr. – Big Bill, as he was often known, is the man responsible for starting NASCAR in 1947. His huge impact on the sport is still felt to this day.
Lee Petty – With 54 wins including the first ever Daytona 500 victory in 1959, Lee Petty was a great trailblazer during the early years of NASCAR.
Richard Petty – With a record 200 wins, 7 Cup Series Championships (tied with Dale Earnhardt), 123 poles, and 1,185 starts, Richard Petty has set records that may never be broken.
Fireball Roberts – Called “the greatest driver to never win a NASCAR title,” Fireball Roberts was NASCAR’s first superstar. His popularity with fans helped to draw huge crowds in NASCAR’s early years.
That’s our top 5, but we want to hear what you think. Tell us your top 5 in the comments section below.
